David Lal  has over 18 years of experience as an active real estate professional.

He is the broker of record of Tri-Bay Financial Group, Inc., headquartered in San Francisco, CA, with branches throughout the state. Tri-Bay also operates Quest Realty, a real estate sales company.

The San Francisco Business Times ranked Tri-Bay as one of the top 25 largest Mortgage Brokers in the Bay Area for each of the last 4 years.

David started his Real Estate career in 1989 and since then has been very active in the industry and takes great pleasure in working with new agents to the industry. He still teaches new agents at Tri-Bay, within it's new agent training program and teaches the Mortgage Academy for the California Real Estate Schools to help new agents get started. He lectures around the state on real estate and related matters for the CalHOP program.

David helped establish the California Home Ownership Program (CalHOP) and currently serves on its board. CalHOP brings home ownership within the reach of all Californians through a unique partnership of Realtors, Lenders, Title & Escrow Companies, Property Insurance, Appraisers and community businesses.

Additionally, David has served on the Board of Directors of the California Association of Mortgage Brokers (CAMB), San Francisco/Peninsula Chapter and was its president for the 2005-2006 session. He has written articles on the subject of Real Estate for numerous trade publications as well as mainstream press such as The San Francisco Examiner. He has also served as a director on several statewide Mortgage and Real Estate Associations in California.

He is very active in educational programs for financing, marketing and real estate matters through the organizations he is affiliated with as well as through the Learning Annex and the Learning Exchange.  He has personally trained over 2000 people entering the business of real estate.

David's depth of knowledge and the simple easy to understand explanations combined with his humor make all of his classes informative and entertaining.
